Melbourne, FL – Post Covid, things are moving along quite well, despite what the news might tell you. Look at the industry you currently work in, check the stock market, look at the housing market, ride by any restaurant on a weekend and see how crowded it is, even places like Home Depot – things are hopping, people are spending money, maybe cautiously, but they are spending. And even with higher interest rates, people are buying and selling homes.
Here are some things to consider for your career trajectory:
Review – review where you’ve been. Take note of career and life accomplishments. Use a journal or keyboard your thoughts and save your file.
Reflect – reflecting on the above doesn’t necessarily mean you continue in that same direction, but it gives you a chance to see where you’ve been and now where you want to go. Identify what’s important to you – time, money, recognition, support, freedom are just a few things. What are your top three things you value most in life? That will identify what’s important to you.
Redefine – Time to Redefine your next path. Create a plan and implement your plan. As you chip away little by little with your plan, six months or a year from now when you look back you will be amazed at the progress you have made. But you have to get started first.
Good Luck!
